Community

Workshops, writings, and social justice work are great, but the value of a healthy, respectful, connected neighbours cannot be overstated. Community is so important! I believe community should be inclusive and not cost money to be part of, so Earth Ethos community offerings are free, without financial exchange. If you “like” Earth Ethos on Facebook, you’ll see all community offerings, as well as gift economy workshop offerings.

A monthly Earth Ethos Peace Circle takes place in Dulwich Hill, Sydney. Sitting in an open circle together we collectively embody the Earth with a medicine wheel altar in the middle supporting open-hearted and grounded communion.  Sharing stories and passing a talking piece we learn from each other’s lived experience wisdom. Circles take place the last Saturday of the month except in December.  Contact me if you are interested in participating so I can send you the address.

In addition to Peace Circle, we tend to have another community gathering each month. You’re welcome to join our full moon drum circle on Friday, August 16 at 7pm.  And on September 21, the International Day of Peace, we will celebrate with a moment of silence and a community Feast for Peace in Peace Park, Ashbury.
